Hello, my name is Mike Tydeman and I am the pastor here at Bloxham Baptist Church.

Thank you for visiting our website.  Whether you are browsing or looking for something in particular, I hope you find the website helpful.

Church websites can be a little bit like shop windows: they convey something of what is ‘inside’ – what’s important to the people, what it offers, what goes on, etc.  I hope that this gives you a window into something of us here at Bloxham Baptist. Unlike a shop, though, the church is not a building but rather a gathering of people.  People who are discovering that God does exist, he does care about us and because he loves us what he offers us is life changing.  And all of this finds its focus in Jesus, the Son of God, who loved us and gave his life for us.

As followers of Jesus, we are learning how to live life with him.  We don’t have it all sorted and we face challenges like everybody else, but we are proving that Jesus’ way of life is far better.

As you browse please can I encourage you with one thing?  However you see yourself and the faith that you do or don’t have, God loves you.  He knows your hopes and fears, your joys and sorrows and your life’s circumstances.  God understands you, wills good for you and offers the gift of a new and better life – freely available through trusting and following Jesus.  It’s a choice you’ll never regret!
