If you are looking after a baby, toddler or child under 4 then Tiddlywinks is the place for you. Run by volunteers from Bloxham Baptist Church this is a ‘stay and play’ group with a warm friendly atmosphere where adults and children feel welcome and relaxed, and fun and play is a priority.
During the session the main room is set up for free play including dressing up, cars, books, ride on toys, rocking horses, and a small climbing frame. An area is kept slightly separate to allow a safe, contained space for younger babies.
Craft activities and messy play are available throughout the morning in an adjoining room.
Drinks and biscuits for everyone are served at 10.30 am by members of our wonderful tea and coffee team.
We tidy up most of the toys at around 11.30 am and then have a short time singing children’s songs and nursery rhymes led by one of the Tiddlywinks team.
We would love to meet you and your little ones! There is no need to book just come along on a Thursday morning. If you have any questions or want to know please get in touch with Rachel our children and families pastor or message us on Facebook.
We are now running Tiddlywinks as usual and are not asking people to wear masks during our session. However, if you feel safer or more comfortable wearing a mask please feel free to do so.
Bitesize is running as usual so if you are pregnant or have a baby under one please come and join us for lunch.
If you have any questions please get in touch with Rachel our children and families pastor.
We are so looking forward to seeing you all again!
If you are an expectant mum or looking after a young baby you would very welcome to join us for lunch. Come and meet others at a similar stage of life, chat, make friends and let us look after you for a while .
Bitesize runs every Thursday during term time from 12.00-1.15 pm in the Chapel at Hawke Lane.
The group is primarily aimed at those who are pregnant or with babies under a year but older siblings are very welcome too. A selection of toys appropriate for younger children are available to keep the little ones entertained whilst the adults eat and talk.
A sandwich lunch is on offer for the adults. We suggest a contribution of £2.00 (75p for older siblings if they eat too) to cover the cost of the food.
You are welcome to bring lunch for your baby and there are seats with trays if these are needed.
There is always enough food so feel free to come along and join us, it would be lovely to see you! New faces are always welcome and there is no need to pre book. However if you have any questions or would like any more information please contact Rachel our children’s and families pastor or message us on Facebook.
