As a church we are thankful to be one of the Baptist Churches in our Region that make up the Southern Counties Baptist Association (SCBA). This particular region of the Baptist Church stretches all the way up from the South Coast of England to the top of Oxfordshire. The Association has a number of Regional Ministers supporting all the churches across the region.
The association exists to ‘inspire, connect and resource’ and we have the privilege of partnering with them in this mission. As well as benefitting from the teaching, support and ministry of SCBA we have opportunities to serve and support.
Footsteps is a course run jointly by Regents Park College and SCBA on ten Saturdays over a year form September to June. It is open to anyone who wants a deeper understanding of their faith and to develop skills useful for their particular ministry. Several of our church fellowship have been through Footsteps and found it really helpful. Find out more on the SCBA Website.

We are happy to support the association wherever we can and have been involved in things like hosting training and leading worship.
Our Children and Families Worker, Rachel plays an active role within the association connecting with other children and Families workers and serving on the CYF steering committee.
Two members of our church family, Vaughn Armstrong and Sarah Stapleton, are recognised by SCBA as Regionally Recognised Leaders (RRL) which is akin to a lay pastor. In this capacity they serve both at Bloxham Baptist and within the association in a variety of ways. Vaughn is part of the moderators group and is currently moderating at Brackley Baptist Church. Sarah serves within the Leadership and Ministerial Development Group and on the BU’s National Ministerial Recognition Committee.
